Winter or spring
It warmed up to 17 degrees today. You felt sick this morning so you stayed home with me. As soon as I said you would be home from school your cough evaporated... funny how that happens. You watched some iPad videos and a few movies while I worked. Then I made lunch, noodles and veggies, but you refused. Later, I heard you rummaging in the fridge and you came upstairs with a bowl of cooked quinoa! No fork so you shoveled it in with your hands! Then you sliced the piece of cheesecake you found in the fridge and ate both halves. So impressed that you can feed yourself like that! You know what you like. I wanted us to plant the violet seeds that came in a Peace by Chocolaate package but I think I yelled/got irritated at you too many times while getting the pots and the soil ready in the garage, and you decided to bow out. 😞 I also yelled at you in the morning and during bath time. Ah man. I need a break. Sorry sweetheart. I love you endlessly. But I struggle at times.
