How the young lady learns the word swamp

Katie from the daycare fell sick with a sore throat for the past two days and closed the daycare. I settled Aida on the ipad and tried to get to work. Pretty challenging! And when Aida napped, I turned to french tests. It's a long shot but there's a chance I could get a passing grade if I work my butt off. Or cheat haha.

Anyway, Aida got sucked in to youtube immediately. I recognized the glassy eyes and zombie stare. She loved the shit out of those videos, and on the second day the first video she requested was about five little zombies jumping on the grave, lol. A Halloween take on monkeys jumping on the bed. The grave was set in a swamp. I taught her the word swamp and an uneasy feeling came over me. She's watching hours worth of iPad and learning weird words, ahhh.

Katie felt better today. Daycare opened and Aida got to see her little friends and not her mom hunched over her keyboard. :)
