Cold turkey on the pacifier

Three nights paci-free!! You were surprisingly cool about its absence Friday and Saturday nights, but then you missed it severely during your nap today. I guess it really set in that this is it, there will be no more soother. You truly struggled during the nap. You woke up after just 45 minutes and cried and whined, I guess you were grieving the solace of the soother. We rocked in the rocking chair and eventually you fell back to sleep but I don't think it was restful. I hear this could last up to two weeks. Poor babes. You're getting ice cream every night. :)
