8 months old!

Celebrating your eight month anniversary with some lily grabbing in the backyard today!

A snapshot of Aida:

You like to watch leaves rustle on the tree in the front yard as I feed you in the kitchen. You often pause eating to pay attention to the moving leaves.

Your attention is often captured by shadows and sun rays on the kitchen walls and ceiling.

You dance in a sitting position when music plays. This is brand new! You shake your little butt and kick your legs around a bit. Playlist includes Raffi and Anika Moa.

You laugh often and we have our little jokes together. You giggle over and over when I grab your hand and shake it back and forth. 

You move toward toys that make noise.

You like to scratch your nails across textiles, metals, my skin, etc. I think you enjoy the sensation and the sound.

When I try to wipe your mouth with a face cloth after a meal, you always try to suck the cloth!
