In the woods

We went for a woodsy walk/run this morning after breakfast. You're so fun to spend time with. You converse with me by sharing words you know already (glasses, eye, elbow, dog, soft) and asking me to sing songs (beluga - you want to hear Baby Beluga; twinkle - Twinkle Twinkle Littke Star). You were squirming in your stroller so I let you out and we petted mossy patches on some trees, fell/sat in piles of old leaves, waved at people and dogs. I really love spending time doing nothing with you. 

Later, after your nap, we wandered around the neighbourhood and met more people. Blew bubbles, picked up rocks. Then you were so hungry you could hardly stand up! I had to give you snacks until dinner was ready. And you were still eager for your meal plus bites of mine.
